Gym Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Eligibility • Members must be 13 years or older to join .
• Members under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
• Members confirm they are physically fit to participate in exercise activities.

2. Membership Types The gym may offer the following memberships: a. Physical Gym Membership
• Access to gym facilities during opening hours.
• Includes use of equipment, classes, and facilities depending on membership level.

3. Membership Fees
• Membership fees must be paid in advance (monthly, 6 monthly, or annually).
• Fees may be collected through direct debit, card payment, cash payment or online billing systems.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of membership.
• The gym and representatives have the right to cancel gym memberships due to anti-social behaviour or unsafe practise as they see fit.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
• Members may cancel membership by cancelling Direct debit , standing order or not rolling over a monthly membership.
• No notice is required to cancel a membership but no refunds will be given if a member has signed up to a monthly , 6 monthly or yearly membership.
• No refunds are given for unused membership periods, unless required by law.

5. Freezing or Pausing Membership Members may request a temporary freeze due to:
• Injury
• Medical reasons
• Travel Conditions:
• Minimum freeze period: 1 month
• Maximum freeze period: 3–6 months per year
• Administrative fees may apply.

6. Health & Safety Members agree to:
• Use equipment responsibly and as instructed.
• Follow all gym safety rules and staff instructions.
• Inform staff of any medical conditions or injuries.
The gym may refuse participation if a member appears unfit or unsafe to exercise.

7. Liability Waiver Members acknowledge that:
• Exercise carries risk of injury or death.
• Participation in gym activities is voluntary.
The gym is not liable for injuries or death unless caused by negligence of the facility or staff.

8. Code of Conduct Members must:
• Respect staff and other members.
• Use equipment properly.
• Not engage in harassment, abusive behaviour, or illegal activities. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of membership without refund of membership cost. ________________________________________
9. Personal Belongings
• The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

10. Use of Facilities The gym reserves the right to:
• Close facilities for maintenance or repairs.
• Adjust opening hours or class schedules.
• Limit access during peak times.

11. Privacy & Data Protection Member data will be stored in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. Information collected may include:
• Personal details
• Health information
• Payment details This data will only be used for membership management and service delivery.

12. Photography & Media The gym may occasionally take photos or videos for marketing purposes. Members may opt out by informing staff in writing. ________________________________________
13. Termination of Membership The gym may terminate membership if:
• Terms and conditions are violated.
• Membership fees remain unpaid.
• Members behave in a dangerous or disruptive manner.

14. Amendments to Terms The gym reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.

15. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
